Dude your transitions were awesome man. Loved the intensity it brought to the clip. Great work.

jaromir-art responds:

Thanks a lot man! Looking back at this animation I don't really like it that much anymore so I'm glad you enjoyed it. I experimented a lot with this one

Same as last time man, very David Firth. Definitely seeing clearer connections to Firth's shorts such as Sock 3 and Spoilsbury Toast Boy. Reminds me of when I was 13 and trying to do that sort of stuff haha. Love the art style though. The detail on the dead body is great. Did you use a slight drop shadow on the animated worm character? I've been doing that lately to try and mimic cell animation.

PointedTree responds:

Haha, thankyou much. I can't help my love for grungy, enclosed environments.
And yes, I put in a little drop shadow. It adds a nice sprinkle of depth to things.

I liked it man. It was like Invader Zim meets Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy. I will have to say though if you make another installment I reckon you could put a little more time in the sound design and maybe the quality of the audio for the voices. Aside from that though great stuff.

NoahSegura responds:

Thank you, I hope to work on my sound design in future projects ☺️

Dude that was killer. Loved every bit of it. The art was so grotesque, so disturbing, it was amazing. The character designs is probably my second favorite thing just under the whole concept of the cartoon. Fantastic work man, keep it up.

BigCronch responds:

Thank you so much man!

It's a bit too dry for my taste but I liked the odd yet clean style of everything. It was definitely worth the watch.

FraserMcNiven responds:

Hello, Spoople here.

Thank you for your comments. I am very dry, like a lizard. And also very clean, like a lizard. I am glad you noticed these two things about me.

Okay then.

I'm a bit of a sucker for this kind of awkward content so you've earned a follower. Oddly enough everything seems to fit together. The bright colours, the monotone delivery of the voices, simplistic animation, and uncle Jerry makes me feel like I'm watching an episode of The Life and Times of Tim where Marc M (sick animation) was on the writing team. Loved it.

kenxerox responds:

Thank! I love both Life and Times of Tim and Sick Animation.

Excellent character animation man. It's awesome seeing how putting the extra effort to have characters interact and react with each other can really bring a work to life. The colours were also quite good. Makes me realise I should really get into studying colour theory properly. I'm not a huge fan of parodies anymore (I know that's my issue not yours) but it's definitely nice to see a parody that also stands on it's own as a story. Awesome job man.

HOwLiNG-MAdFoxHatter responds:

I'm glad to hear that you enjoyed it : D

TF2 felt like a good starting point for me since it is quite the master of color theory itself with how it contrasts warm and cold colors.

I reckon you could do a little better man. Nice sh*t post though.

Fantastic work dude. It's like all the body horror from Cronenberg's Naked Lunch x2 with a touch of David Lynch and Firth. Definitely stands on it's own stylistically I might add. Awesome animation and illustrations man. Keep up the good stuff.

PointedTree responds:

My three favorite Davids.
Thankyou much

Awesome stuff. The framing for the shots were awesome and the drawings were nice too. The backgrounds were pretty well done. Can't really fault the visuals in this one.

Thank you
